05 / Technical support

Keep the foundation
working.

Website maintenance and infrastructure support that connect day-to-day reliability with ongoing development.

Discuss technical support

The starting point

A website keeps evolving
after launch.

Content changes, software needs updates and business requirements grow. We make the maintenance work explicit, with agreed responsibilities and a clear way to request improvements.

We review the website and its environment before taking it on. The support scope defines what is monitored, maintained and backed up, and how changes are tested and delivered.

01 / Deliverable

A documented starting point

An inventory of the website, hosting and dependencies, with known issues and agreed priorities.

02 / Deliverable

Planned maintenance

Updates, backups and checks within a defined support scope, with changes recorded for future reference.

03 / Deliverable

A dependable change process

Requests organised into an agreed backlog, with estimates and a testing approach suited to the change.

04 / Deliverable

Room to improve

Technical refinements, content changes and new functionality planned around business requirements.

A clear scope from the start

What we can take on.
What we agree together.

Typical project scope

  • Website maintenance and CMS updates
  • Hosting and server administration
  • Backup and restoration planning
  • Ongoing fixes and website improvements

Before work begins

  • The current platform and hosting environment
  • Access ownership and maintenance history
  • Backup coverage and restoration requirements
  • Support hours, response terms and responsibilities

Practical questions

Let’s make
the details clear.

Can you support a site you did not build?

Yes, subject to an initial technical review. We need to understand the code, platform, hosting and existing issues before agreeing a workable support scope.

Do you provide 24/7 support?

Coverage and response terms are agreed for each engagement. We do not advertise continuous coverage as a standard service without a corresponding support agreement.

Does support include new features?

Maintenance and new development are distinguished in the proposal. Improvements can be handled through an agreed allocation or estimated separately.
